Tenerife Road Cycling Tour Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival
Welcome to Tenerife! Settle into your hotel and get ready for your adventure.
Overnight Location: Hotel in Los Cristianos

Day 2 Warm Up Ride to Vilaflor
This day will be the regular warm up ride to Vilaflor and to ensure everyone has brought their climbing legs with them and that their bike is ready for the week ahead. Coffee stop in Vilafor 1,400m altitude.
Overnight Location: Hotel in Los Cristianos
Distance: Long option: 65km, 1,450m of ascent
Short option: 50km, 1,000m of ascent

Day 3 Ascent to Mt Teide
First ascent of the week to Mt Teide from the West of the island. A steady climb 5-6% all the time on a perfect tarmac condition and an amazing volcanic landscapes.

Distance: Long option: 100km, 2,500m of ascent
Medium option: 80km, 2,300m of ascent

Day 4 Ride to Tempus Bodega
Fantastic an easy day to the East part of the island doing our usual ride out to TEMPUS Bodega to sample a local Canarian lunch & wine tasting.

Day 5 Second Ascent to Mt Teide
Second ascent of the week to Mt Teide from the South up to Vilaflor and carry on to El Teide. We´ll stop for a coffee break at the top before going down the same way to the hotel. This is a real challenge of the week.

Day 6 North West of the Island
We´ll ride over Chio in the North West of the Island, descending the iconic switchbacks to the beautiful village of Masca before we continue to the coastal town of Garachico where we will tackle the stunning and quiet Las Cruces climb the ride will finish. After that we will transfer to Mama Delgado for the Paella Party.

Day 7 North East of the Island
We´ll explore the North East of the island and cycle the Bailadero climb up to the Unesco Biosphere Reserve of the Anaga Natural Park. Anaga is a highland of mountains with sharp peaks and deep ravines covered with carpets of laurel trees and dotted with charming hamlets, a stunning ride which offers magnificent views across the island and over to Mt Teide in the distance. Descending into the Unesco World Heritage city of La Laguna we will stop for lunch before finishing the ride back at the Capital of Teneriofe(Santa Cruz).

Day 8 Departure Day
