Day 1 Check in
Arriving in Ferrol, a coastal town and the recommended embarkation point for the English Way.

Day 2 Walk to Neda & Transfer to Ferol
Begin your Camino with a relatively easy first stage from Ferrol. Before setting out, take some time to explore the historic port and the elegant Magdalena neighborhood. Along the route, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the San Martiño de Xubia Monastery, home to a charming 12th-century Romanesque church. At the end of today’s walk, a transfer will return you to Ferrol for your overnight stay.

Day 3 Transfer to Neda & Walk to Pontedeume
After breakfast, transfer back to Neda to begin today’s walk. Before setting out, take some time to explore the Baroque Santa María Church, home to a Tudor-style figure of Christ that arrived in 1550 aboard a British ship. Continue on foot to Pontedeume, where a highlight is the 14th-century Tower of Andrade, the only remaining structure of the town’s former medieval fortress.

Day 5 Walk to Betanzos
During your journey, make sure to stop by the iconic San Pantaleón de las Viñas church along the English Way. In Betanzos, the capital of one of the seven provinces of the ancient Kingdom of Galicia, explore numerous monuments showcasing the town’s rich history. Don’t miss the opportunity to savor their renowned potato omelette.

Day 6 Walk to Beche & Transfer to Betanzos
Today’s 17 km stage takes you from Betanzos through the peaceful Galician countryside to Beche, following quiet lanes, wooded paths, and gently rolling terrain. On arrival in Beche, a transfer will return you to Betanzos for your overnight stay.

Day 7 Transfer to Beche & Walk to San Paio de Buscás
After breakfast, transfer back to Beche to continue your Camino. Today’s walk leads through quiet rural landscapes, small villages, and peaceful stretches of Galician countryside before reaching San Paio de Buscás, where you’ll finish the stage.

Day 8 Walk to Sigüeiro/Marantes
Today’s walk continues from San Paio de Buscás through peaceful rural Galicia, following a mix of quiet country lanes, forest paths, and small villages. The stage finishes in the Sigüeiro/Marantes area, bringing you closer to Santiago de Compostela.

Day 9 Final Walk to Santiago
