Day 1 Arrival in Chamonix
Welcome to Chamonix, the legendary alpine town nestled at the foot of Mont Blanc. Easily accessible by train or airport shuttle, Chamonix offers a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern convenience. After checking into your comfortable 4-star hotel, enjoy a leisurely stroll through cobblestone streets, explore cozy cafés and boutiques, and prepare for the unforgettable journey ahead.

Day 2 Begin Your Trek on the Tour du Mont Blanc
Transfer to the base of the Bellevue Cable Car this morning where a scenic ride whisks you to the trailhead. From the top of the Bellevue lift, marvel at the views of the Mont Blanc climbing route before traversing to the Bionnassay Glacier.
Cross a thrilling Nepali-style suspension bridge and ascend through serene alpine pastures to the Col de Tricot (2,120m). After a rewarding descent past the chalets of Miage and Chalets du Truc, arrive in the charming village of Les Contamines-Montjoie, where a warm welcome and hearty dinner await.

Day 3 Trek to Les Chapieux and Transfer to Bourg St Maurice
Begin the day with a visit to the stunning Baroque church of Notre-Dame-de-la-Gorge, marking the start of the ancient Roman trade route. Hike steadily up through forests and alpine meadows to the Col du Bonhomme (2,329m), before continuing to the Col de la Croix-du-Bonhomme (2,433m) for sweeping views over the Beaufortain and Mt. Pourri (3,779m).
Descend into the remote hamlet of Les Chapieux, where a private transfer will take you to your hotel in Bourg-Saint-Maurice for the night. Dinner is at your leisure — explore the town’s excellent local restaurants!

Day 4 On to Italy – Bourg-Saint-Maurice to Courmayeur
After a morning transfer to La Ville des Glaciers, enjoy a visit to a traditional alpine farm where Beaufort cheese is still made by hand. Hike through rolling pastures to the Col de la Seigne (2,516m), crossing the border into Italy. Take in spectacular views of the southern face of Mont Blanc and jagged peaks like the Noire de Peuterey and Grandes Jorasses. Descend through the flower-filled Val Veny, past the shimmering Miage Glacier Lake, and transfer to Courmayeur, the jewel of the Italian Alps.

Day 5 Trek to Champex Lac
A local bus transfer brings you to Arnuva this morning, where today’s hike begins with a scenic climb to the Grand Col Ferret (2,537m) — the gateway to Switzerland. Soak in panoramic views before descending through lush Swiss meadows to the quiet hamlet of Ferret. Continue by bus to the picturesque lakeside village of Champex-Lac, your base for the night.
Note: Your hotel will either be in nearby La Fouly if there is no availability in Champex. This will require a short transfer by bus the same day, or the day after.

Day 6 Trek to Trient and Transfer to Argentière
Today’s route winds through peaceful Swiss alpine pastures, home to the cows behind the country’s world-famous cheeses. From the high meadows of Bovine, enjoy sweeping views over the Rhône Valley. An optional (but more strenuous) alternative trail is available for seasoned hikers seeking a bigger challenge. After reaching the village of Trient, a private transfers will take you to your hotel in Argentière, just outside of Chamonix.

Day 7 Final Trek to Chamonix
Conclude your trek with one of the most scenic days on the trail. From Col des Montets, follow the balcony trail along the Aiguilles Rouges Reserve to the crystal-clear Lac des Cheserys, where the reflection of Mont Blanc in the water is unforgettable. Continue on to Lac Blanc, keeping an eye out for ibex, before descending to La Flégère. A gondola ride brings you back to the valley, where you can either walk or take a bus into Chamonix.
Your luggage will be available for pickup or delivered to your hotel (if staying an extra night). Most travelers depart Chamonix this evening via Geneva or choose to spend an additional night to unwind and celebrate.
