Orca Camp Kayak Tour Itinerary
Day 1 Journey to Orca Camp
Meet the water taxi at Campbell River Whale Watching in Campbell River at 7:30am. After a warm welcome, your guide will introduce you to the day’s journey and share what to expect on the way to camp. The 2.5-hour boat ride takes you through the scenic Discovery Passage and the legendary Seymour Narrows—an area known for its strong currents and rich marine life. Along the way, you may spot porpoises, dolphins, or even whales. Upon arrival at camp, the friendly staff will help you settle into your wilderness accommodations. In the afternoon, you’ll join a kayak orientation to get comfortable on the water before your first paddle.

Day 2 Exploring coastal waters by kayak
Spend the day exploring the stunning coastal waters by kayak. As you paddle through prime orca territory, keep an ear out for the distinctive sound of whale blows. Day 3 Journey across Johnstone Strait
Today’s journey takes you across Johnstone Strait to the island across from camp. After a day on the water, return to camp to unwind in the native-style sauna and hot tub—a relaxing and memorable way to end the day.

Day 4 Final paddle and departure
