Day 1 Arrival in Lucca
Arrive in Renaissance Lucca, just a short train or bus ride from Florence or Pisa airports. After fitting your bikes, enjoy a 4 km test ride around Italy’s best-preserved fortified walls. If you arrive early, take time to explore the city center, including the Roman-built amphitheater, the unique Torre Guinigi with a tree growing atop the medieval tower, and the stunning marble Duomo. The day concludes with a welcome dinner at a local trattoria, marking the start of our tour together.
