Day 1 Arrive
Your tour begins in the famous battle city of Arnhem, known for the Battle of Arnhem fought here in WWII. Check into your accommodation, then set out to explore the mesmerizing city, home to an excellent zoo and intriguing museums.

Day 2 Cycle the Veluwezoom National Park
Set out this morning for your first ride into the enchanted woods of the Veluwezoom National Park. Tracing the lower Rhine, you’ll want to hop off your bike at the Amerongen Castle to take in the impressive fortress and its lush gardens. Then, continue the route to Wijk bij Duursteede, where you’ll find your next hotel. Settle in before heading out to explore the lovely old city center, and enjoy dinner on a sunny terrace at the town market.

Day 3 Ride to Asperen
Rise ready to seize an epic day of cycling as you set off towards Gorinchem this morning. The first stretch has you crossing the Nederrijn via a beautiful arch bridge. You’ll soon enter the fruit-bearing region of Betuwe, where the sweet smell of the orchards will accompany you on the ride to Buren.
Press on to Gorinchem, following the pretty banks of the River Linge all the way to your accommodations for the night.

Day 4 Visit Historic Gorinchem and Ride to Papendrecht
Take your time to explore Gorinchem’s historic centre before boarding the ferry to the fortress town of Woudrichem. Riding onward, you’ll be carried into the spellbinding landscapes of Biesbosch National Park, where the Meuse and Waal rivers meet. A ‘De Biesbosch’ ferry then takes you across the Nieuwe Merwede River to Dordrecht, where the highlight is the lovely old harbour quarter. Finally, a waterbus will bring you across the Lower Merwede to beautiful Papendrecht.

The starting price for two people sharing a double or twin room is EUR675 per person. Bike rental includes the bike, helmet, bike insurance, and a breakdown pass. For a hybrid bike the price is EUR125 and for an e-bike is EUR185.
