Steamboat Springs Gravel Biking Adventure Itinerary
Day 1 Welcome Dinner and Bike Prep
The tour shuttle will meet you at the Steamboat Springs Airport and bring you to your hotel. This afternoon, you’ll have time to prepare your bike and check your equipment. Then you’ll have an orientation dinner with the group to learn all about your upcoming adventure.

Day 2 Cycle Quarry Mountain
Today you’ll hit the trail on a pleasant warm-up ride that will circle around Quarry Mountain and go past Lake Catamount. This route has one big climb that will get your muscles ready for the week ahead. Enjoy the scenery!
Tonight, enjoy the atmosphere of Steamboat Springs.

Day 3 Ride Bear’s Ears Loop
A shuttle will pick you up today to take you to the trailhead. You’ll be riding the Bear’s Ears Loop that goes up and down the hills towards the Elkhead Mountains. You’ll cycle past Elkhead Ranch and around Elkhead Reservoir before heading back to town.

Day 4 Explore Williams Fork Mountains
You’ll take another shuttle this morning, this tie to Hayden. You’ll be cycling a loop through the scenic Williams Fork Mountains. The trip will include several passes to climb as well as descents into several gulches and the Williams Fork Valley.

Day 5 Visit Fish Creek Falls and Strawberry Hot Springs
Today you’ll be taking a more leisurely ride on some paved and dirt roads as you explore the ski area and upper valley of Steamboat. You’ll have a chance to jump off your bike and take a short hike to view the lovely Fish Creek Falls.
In the afternoon you’ll be visiting the beautiful Strawberry Hot Springs for a relaxing soak in the hot pools. Bliss!

Day 6 Biking on Pinnacle Peak
Your ride today will be quite the adventure, as you’ll be tackling Pinnacle Peak! A shuttle will drop you off in Oak Creek where you’ll join the trail and start your ride up the sides of Pinnacle Peak. The route also includes some exhilarating downhill riding as you descend along the Trout Creek to Milner on the Yampa.

Day 7 Ride in the Elk River Valley
Your final ride of the tour visits the northern part of Steamboat. You’ll be taking the Darkside of Fly Gulch route. Enjoy the hills and scenery as you climb your way to the Elk River Valley.
Afterwards, you’ll ride back to Steamboat and the group will go out for a final farewell lunch before you depart.
